2021 Memorial Day Reunion Agenda:
Thursday 5/27 early arrivals
*****NOTE: PARKING for the Hallal's house will be located at 1430 E 96th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46240. This is the parking lot for the Monon Trail. Carmel Police have given permission for cars to be there overnight all weekend and will monitor the parking lot. Head south from the lot across the pedestrian bridge and the yard is the 2nd house in. It will be marked with Jolly Rogers and USMC flags.*****
Friday 5/28 convene and set up bivouac at the Hallal house 9514 N. Compton Ct., Indianapolis, IN 46240.
Saturday 5/29 Gold Star Family Reception at The District Tap (3720 E 82nd St., Indianapolis, IN 46240) from 1700-2100
Sunday 5/30 Indianapolis 500 (limited tickets). Charter bus departs Holiday Inn (251 Pennsylvania Pkwy Carmel, Indiana 46280) at 1000. Race will start around 1200, bus departs the Speedway NLT 1800 (regardless of whether the race is over).
Monday 5/31 Gravesite ceremony to honor PFC Deryk Hallal. Convoy departs Hallal residence at 1100 en route to Crown Hill Cemetery (700 West 38th St., Indianapolis, IN 46208). Return to Hallal residence immediately following.
Tuesday 6/1 Police call Hallal residence and depart.
